PHYSIOTHERAPY
With our physiotherapy service we tackle the physical dimension of the person in a global manner through three main objectives: to strengthen the undamaged areas; rehabilitate the aftereffects with the aim of improving and bettering the general physical fitness encouraging the greatest possible autonomy in the person.
In order to attain these objectives, we consider it useful to work on individual activity as well as group activity and through the use of the new technologies with applications specially created for rehabilitation.

The programs which we are currently developing are the following: Specialized neurological physiotherapy where the physiotherapists at Adacen have extensive experience within the area of neurology especially that related to ABI (Acquired Brain Injury). for individual physiotherapy treatment we combine specific techniques within this area (Bobath, Perfetti...) with other more generalized ones (Neurodynamics, miofascial release, kinesiotherapy...) Adacen also develops a program of hydrotherapy at the Mutilva sports. This activity allows us to work both for rehabilitation objectives of the function as well as at a social level within a normalized and enjoyable atmosphere.

Our aim is to promote personal autonomy for people by working on different activities such as basic care, social autonomy, household tasks, accessibility, technical aids and digital competence.

From the area of Occupational Therapy in Adacen we are working to evaluate the capacity of the people that would permit them to carry out their daily activities and to intervene when this capacity is at risk or damaged. As occupational therapeutics we use activities for an end and with a positive outlook to give the person more and more autonomy and functional independence in their daily lives.

After an initial interview and evaluation we determine jointly along with the person the best treatment to follow to ensure the greatest possible autonomy.
These are some programs and techniques that we are carrying out: Program of Development of autonomy in daily life: we are working to improve autonomy in daily life activities both basic and instrumental, taking into account the moment and the real context for each activity. Autonomy in Basic Activities in daily life: having a shower, personal toilette, dress, food, control of sphincters, using the toilet, going out and about. Autonomy in Instrumental activities in daily life: domestic skills, using the euro, mobile phones or computers. There is also a program of Social Autonomy: This is a program centered on recuperating the social aspects of the person, from using public transport to doing the shopping or getting around the city or town. This is carried out alongside the program of Social Education and it is developed in the real-life surroundings of the person (Pamplona and outlying areas).
