ADACEN RECEIVES THE NGO STAMP GIVEN FOR BEING A LOYALTY FOUNDATION.
The Loyalty Foundation independent institution, a non-profit making institution, has awarded Adacen (The Navarra association for Cerebral Damage), the recognized NCO stamp for loyalty.
WHAT IS THE RECOGNIZED NCO STAMP?

This is a distinction that identifies an NGO (Non-Government Organization) as fulfilling the 9 Principles of Transparency and Good Faith. Its aim is to reinforce confidence in donators and supporters in the best NGOs and ensure that their donation will be efficiently used.
The recognition of the Loyalty Foundation is awarded after an analysis carried out at the request of the same organizations and which covers 40 different aspects.

REQUISITES FOR THE NGO
In order to be considered for the NGO recognition stamp, The Loyalty Foundation carries out an analysis to ensure that the entity complies with 9 Principles of Transparency and Good Faith. This analysis may be requested by the NGOs that fulfill the following requisites:
Develop activities and projects of a social action type, that cooperate on projects, that provide humanitarian help and/or of a environmental nature which are classified as of general interest in accordance with article 3.1 of the Decree 49/2002.

That can count on at least two full-time economic inspections and that have an external audit of their accounts ( which includes a balance sheet, a profit and loss account and an annual general economic report ), carried out by an external auditor who is qualified in the economic field and with at least one complete audit of the yearly accounts already completed .
To be classified in Spain as an association or foundation. In the case of an association, this entity should have been declared as of a public utility.

All those NGOs which comply with the above-mentioned requisites may apply for the Loyalty Foundation analysis, wherever they may be located or whatever their size and social work. In the case of those entities with an annual budget less than 300.000 euro and which have no other entities attached to them, will have an adapted method applied to them for the analysis
In addition, The Loyalty Foundation also offers a series of free talks to help the associations and foundations to improve their services and to help prepare them for a future analysis.
